    Very good

There was a warm welcome on arrival, the hotel was clean and well organised. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff generally very helpful. Bar: Nice layout but a little pricey. We drank at a couple of local bars simply because the bar charges at the hotel were too expensive.

Nothing - it was good, we will stay at the Asacot again next time we are on the Island.

    Superb

The size of our executive room was excellent. It coped with two adults and a daughter who likes her own space. The food was excellent at all times.

Unable to gain wi-fi internet access at any time in our room. Router signal strength only ever indicated one bar. The hotel router needs upgraded or moved to a much higher position within the hotel.

    Exceptional

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Ascot. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the room spacious and comfortable. Best of all was the Breakfast. There was so much choice and the Manx Kippers were so fresh. I am already planning a return in September and have recommended it to other members of my family and friends.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ascot very much. Staff were very friendly and helpful The breakfast was yummy and we eat in the restaurant on one occasion in the evening and it was very nice. All in all I enjoyed it and would stay there again for sure.

Stayed there while on business on the Isle of Man, rooms very comfortable, really homely and warm, very clean. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was lovely. Would definately stay there again or recommend to a friend.

    Very good

Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful Room was neat clean warm and comfortable.

Location would be difficult for any one with a mobility problem. Plumbing is rather noisy. Great for bed and breakfast but lacked any atmosphere in the evening.

    Fabulous

I was not aware that I had reserved an "executive double room as described below. The room had a single and a double bed, twins were requested but that did not matter. Neither the price nor the lack of view would qualify as "executive" - so that is not a complaint.

    Superb

The staff was always friendly. The hotel is perfectly located for anything you want to do in the entire island because the transportation is all centered around that area. I also liked the design of the hotel. It felt like you were in a nice campus house back in college, where you felt free to let go and not think about work and responsibilities for a couple of days.

While the staff was friendly, they, at times, didn't know much about their own city, which doesn't help someone that's never been there. Also, I was never clear on whether the soap dispenser had soap or shampoo in it. So, I couldn't wash my hair for the two days I was there. While I liked the design of the hotel, I think ramps, instead of stairs would be better for luggage. It was so difficult to get my luggage to my room, going through all those sets of stairs. And no one that worked at the hotel offered to help, even though they saw me struggling. Also, the sheets on the bed were yellowed, which was not pleasant at all. Then, when I asked why the radiator didn't work, they said they shut it off from 10pm-4am. Hmmm, isn't that the coldest part of the entire day? Oh, well, still a fun trip but probably wouldn't stay there again, unless I didn't have money to go anywhere else.
